PROJECT FEATURES
INFINITE PLACEHOLDERS & CUSTOM DURATION
This template gives you full control over the amount of presented media and its duration. Included video tutorial will guide you through few simple steps on how to duplicate placeholders and change durations. Note that template already includes duplicates of placeholders for each key comp, ranging from 10 to 20 additional placeholders.
MODULAR STRUCTURE
This is one of the key features I was focusing on for this template. It is 100% modular. You can reuse, customize, combine, duplicate, extend or shorten all bits of this template to your needs.
SIMPLE TO USE YET POWERFULL CONTROLS
All bits are crafted with maximum usability possible for designers, without losing any of template capabilities. All key comps contain “Controls” layer from wich you can make changes to many layers simultaneously. You will not need to open each placeholder every time you want to change something.
DOCUMENTATION + HELP MARKERS + VIDEO TUTORIAL
In the project, you will find many markers that contain help text about present comp or layer. Hover your mouse on a marker or double-click it to see the help text. You can start your work immediately. Main customization steps for key comps are also duplicated in project documentation. Video tutorials provide comprehensive help for project management, duration changes and placeholder duplication.
TEMPLATE ORGANIZATION
All comps are color coded and named so that it is easier to navigate between them. Some of the key comps contain shortcuts like [P] for Portfolio. With this shortcut, you can immediately make out for what you are looking for and not struggle in similar comp names.
STRAIGHT TO THE POINT DESIGN
Iformation is easily readable, looks eye catchy and pleasant due to minimalistic and strict design decisions.
STATISTICS & INFOGRAPHICS
Fully driven by expressions, you don’t need to keyframe any of the parameters, just type in your value and use “Controls” layers to edit graph visual settings. All animations are done automatically. All statistics can be duplicated (without pre-comps) to create new custom stats. You can duplicate bars in a graph, if you need more than 12 (expressions should be slightly updated after that), or simply delete unused ones. Pie chart automatically adapts all your values and colors on input, giving freedom with lots of controls driven by expressions.
FLEXIBLE MAPS
Each map contains “Edit” comp where you can easily highlight countries just in few clicks. “Map Elements” is the place where you can cultivate 12 animated signs and 4 markers, callouts, circles, text boxes. You can also drop in your own icon or logo and it will be animated automatically. Custom map gives you the opportunity to zoom on a custom location anywhere in the world map, just focus on the desired country. USA map is separate from World map and contains all states including Hawaii and Alaska.
TRANSITIONS
Template includes 8 transitions from different angles, that work as masks. Preview image is included as a guide to choose from them.
TITLES
Colors are editable globally from “MAIN COMP”, so you won’t need to open each one of them. Titles are re-usable for lower third purposes, for example if you will include interview video of someone.
